MARIANNE ROBIOU PROJECT (Francia)

Marianne Robiou Project, a contemporary jazz ensemble born in the Canary Islands, boasts a diverse repertoire spanning bossa nova, swing, new jazz, funk, and more. The quartet’s versatility, honed on national and international stages, is evident in the soft vocals transporting listeners to the Gallic country through French melodies.

The singer-songwriter’s extensive list of original songs, composed in multiple languages, encapsulates a spectrum of positive emotions, giving life to two albums and three singles. French serves as the language of choice, highlighting the quartet’s originality.

In 2013, the group released their first EP, “Dreamland,” along with their initial project, “Liqueur de Feeling.” The quartet, formally known as Marianne Robiou Project, took shape in 2018 with a clear international ambition, skillfully covering songs from their debut EP and the 2016 album “Mademoiselle Electroswing,” co-produced with Italian arranger Bebo Best.

2019 witnessed the release of several singles, including “Nomads” and “Neverlate,” under the production of Takeo Music. The band surprises with unreleased and original songs, showcasing their members’ undeniable “Savoir faire” and an unparalleled “Savoir plaire.”
