David y Carlos de Jacoba

Born in Granada, his hometown Motril, David released his first album entitled “Jubileo” in 2014. Produced by his brother Carlos de Jacoba (guitarist) and Lucky Losada (percussionist). To this album, names of collaborators such as Vicente Amigo, Raimundo Amador, Pepe Habichuela, among others, were added. This album was awarded as the best album of cante revelation (first album) of Flamenco Hoy 2014.

Just a few years before, in 2010, David was part of the sextet of Paco de Lucía, accompanying him on his last tours. In this journey of David de Jacoba, we find collaborations, works, and formation of groups with Tomatito, Sara Varas, Joaquín Cortes, Carles Benavent, Jorge Pardo, Josemi Carmona, Jesus de Rosario, Carlos de Jacoba, Diego del Morao, Niño Josele, Rubén Dantas, Diego Amador, Fedra, a company directed musically by Enrique Morente, etc.

David also works with other music in Latin-jazz with Jerry González, Giovani Hidalgo, Alain Pérez, Caramelo, Antonio Serrano, etc. In recent years, David de Jacoba has appeared solo at the festivals of Mont de Marsan (France), Suma Flamenca (Madrid), Flamenco On Fire (Pamplona), etc. At the same time, he is part of the group the Paco de Lucía Project directed by Javier Limón. David de Jacoba, at the moment, is in his best moment and at the beginning of his second album, which will be directed by Carlos de Jacoba and Jesus de Rosario.
