“Projeto Brasileiro” emerged from Tomás LP Cruz’s passion for Brazilian culture and music. 
After two years of vigorous work, in the year 2011 a CD of eleven songs including a documentary was released, having the participation of more than 40 artists such as Joyce, Milton Nascimiento, Danilo Caymmi and Roberto Menescal, and so forth. 

In the closing months of 2018, the visionary creator and ideologist undertakes the ambitious challenge of presenting this project on stage for the inaugural time. To achieve this, Tomás LP Cruz has structured a talented ensemble of Canarian artists with a profound appreciation for Brazilian music: Rebeca Mora (vocals), José Alberto Medina (keyboards), Jonay Mesa (guitars and Cavaquinho), Luis Suárez (percussion and samplers), and Amilcar Mendoza (drums).

With remarkable quality and unwavering enthusiasm, the concept of Projeto Brasileiro was brought to life. As one of the significant musical productions in the Canarian scene over the past decade, the moment has arrived to transition from the digital sphere and suggest its live presence on stage.
