4-28 JUNE
The 10th CoolMoon · Cultures of the World Fest 2026 returns from June 4 to 28 with a particularly significant edition: ten years of music, encounters, territories and cultural dialogue from the Canary Islands to the world. The festival celebrates its first decade by consolidating its own open and diverse identity, where world music, contemporary creation, roots music, song, improvisation and new stage sensibilities come together in a close, travelling programme deeply connected to its audiences.
Throughout the month of June, CoolMoon will visit different venues across Tenerife, La Gomera, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Graciosa and La Palma, strengthening its itinerant character and its commitment to bringing live music to unique, intimate and culturally valuable settings. The 2026 edition maintains the festival’s boutique spirit: close-up concerts, proposals with strong artistic identity, unconventional spaces and a programme that invites audiences to discover other sound geographies while keeping a strong connection with creation made in the Canary Islands.
The programme includes artists and projects such as Jairo Martín, Baião de Duas —Kadija Telles & Aninha Paschoal—, Lornoar, Hermanos de Jacoba, Melania Piñero Trío, Carla Vega & Satomi Morimoto, Fasur, Hawa, Afrocuband, Cristina Mahelo, Della Du, Andrés Leoni, Juan Mesa and ST Dúo, among others. This sound map connects the Canary Islands with Brazil, Cameroon, Iran, Argentina, Japan, Mauritania, Cuba and other cultural sensibilities, offering a plural vision of music as a space for encounter, identity and shared celebration.
In addition to the concerts, this tenth edition includes complementary activities such as the retrospective photography exhibition “10 Years of CoolMoon”, the cycle Las Noches de Santa Blues, the Women and Sustainability Day, as well as workshops, talks, performances, cultural actions and environmental awareness activities. In this way, the festival expands its artistic dimension to become a space for mediation, reflection and citizen participation.
CoolMoon · Cultures of the World Fest 2026 once again proposes an open, hybrid and contemporary cultural experience: a festival that understands music as a journey, as a bridge and as a way of recognising ourselves through difference. Ten years after its creation, CoolMoon celebrates its history while looking ahead, with a diverse, carefully curated programme committed to the territory, sustainability and dialogue between cultures.
